Equipment to help people live at home
Our Occupational Therapy service supports people who experience difficulties with daily living activities due to:

  • A health condition or disability
  • Sight or hearing impairment
  • Recovery from an injury
Eligibility Criteria
To refer someone for Occupational Therapy, they must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have significant difficulties completing everyday tasks
Occupational therapy equipment we provide
After the assessment, we can provide equipment such as:
  • Grab rails
  • Ramps
  • Stairlifts
  • Ceiling track hoists
  • Slide sheets
  • Standing aids
  • Full-body hoists and slings
  • Transfer boards
  • A liquid level indicator - to help you pour drinks
  • A loop system - to help you hear your television
  • Symbol cane
  • White walking stick
  • Other specialist equipment to help you with your daily activities
Charges for occupational therapy
It is free for us to assess the person's needs for occupational therapy.

Most of our services are also free. If the person requires major adaptations to their home, they may need to complete a financial assessment to see if they will need to pay any costs.
